8:23 a.m. - Jess arrived to farmhouse, finding Joyce asleep in her chair with her oxygen line in place. Joyce was chatty upon waking. Joyce expressed worries over Christmas gifts. Jess assured Joyce that Jess and Dusty would help her make her gifts for the family. Joyce expressed desire to make more stamped cards. 8:35 a.m. - Bathroom trip. Urinary incontinence. New diaper pad insert. Urine passed, fresh barrier cream applied. 8:49 a.m. - BP 157/88, pulse 78. BGL @ 106. Joyce was having issues with burping. Joyce settled on having one egg and half a banana for her breakfast. 8:55 a.m. - Morning medication (Carvedilol, multivitamin, 2 Tylenol, iron supplement, potassium supplement, Mucinex) with nutritional shake. 9 a.m. - Breakfast, finished by 9:15 a.m. Joyce chatted with Jess about the plan for Christmas gifts to the family members, concerned that cookies "are not enough."
