Jess and Dusty arrived to farmhouse ~9:15 a.m. after picking up supplies from town for preparing Christmas cookies for Joyce to give out to family members. Joyce found sleeping in her recliner without her oxygen line in place. Evidence that Joyce had taken herself to the bathroom at least twice on her own since 11 p.m. last night when Dusty departed.

Joyce expressed concerns over the farmhouse not being ready for Christmas. Jess and Dusty assured her that they would finish cleaning and setting up the decorations this weekend.
11 a.m. - Joyce expressed a desire for coffee, had to be reminded that it upsets her stomach. Joyce marveled at the fact she cannot recall saying some of the things she is "being accused of saying." Earl Grey tea for Joyce brewed at her request as an alternative. Joyce began napping.

Joyce expressed concerns about getting Christmas gifts ready to give to everyone. Jess worked on assuring Joyce that she and Dusty had worked today to prepare cookie tins and bins for giving out to the family on Christmas when they are out at the farmhouse. Joyce concerned about adding money to the gifts that Jess and Dusty prepared. Jess worked at calming Joyce and reminding her that the family isn't coming for her money but to spend the holiday with her. Joyce took some convincing and Jess worked at steering Joyce to focus onto alternate topics and prepare for bedtime.
