General Update #153
Joyce informed Dusty and Jess she was feeling hungry ~2 p.m. Jess gave Joyce fresh Earl Grey tea and her peanut butter sandwich (which Dusty had prepared yesterday). Joyce finished eating all of the sandwich by 2:30 p.m.
Dusty continued processing Joyce's laundry. Freshly laundered clothes and towels have been folded and laid out on living room coffee table to facilitate ease of locating for family caregivers and eventual bedroom storage/dresser restocking and/or reorganization.

Joyce informed Jess and Dusty that she would like to try taking herself to the bathroom ~2:46 p.m. Joyce had no issue of incontinence or involuntary bowel movements. Only issue occurred when she went to sit on toilet, slight involuntary urinary discharge which Dusty cleaned up. Jess helped Joyce remove soiled skirt. Jess and Dusty changed Joyce into fresh clothes for the day.
Joyce worked with Jess attempting to learn how to put on the new style of diapers. Joyce was able to successfully stand and clean herself post-toileting.
Fresh barrier cream was applied to Joyce's buttocks and inner thighs where rash/sores present.

Joyce's blood pressure was 134/71, pulse 87 at 3:07 p.m.
Joyce processing information fairly well today.

Carol arrived ~3:12 p.m.
Dusty provided overview of location of cleaning supplies, paper goods (diapers, waterproof maps), location of medications, and other items potentially needed for care of Joyce. Overview of medication needed for evening given along with options for food when Joyce is ready for dinner.
Carol planning to work on cleaning the farmhouse.
Jess completed making the meatloaf and set it out to cool, cleaning kitchen up prior to departing farmhouse.
Dusty departing farmhouse for Camp Grizzly ~4 p.m. for Potlatch units' Court of Honor.
