General Update #229 - Saturday, November 28, 2020
8:15 a.m. - Dusty arrived to find Joyce in the hallway, sitting on her walker. Joyce stated she had gotten up "at some point" to use the bathroom and then could not make her legs work after toileting and sat herself down on the walker, remaining there until Dusty arrived. Evidence Joyce had a bowel movement. Dusty assisted with moving Joyce back to recliner by rolling her on her walker.
8:27 p.m. - BGL @139. BP 165/94, pulse 81.
8:30 a.m. - Breakfast (leftover McDonald's sausage and biscuit from yesterday). Hotcakes were not eaten and put back into refrigerator.
Craig arrived to visit ~9:30 a.m.
10:35 a.m. - Joyce soiled herself in her recliner. Remainder of type 5 bowel movement passed in bathroom. Dusty assisted with cleanup, Joyce was showered and put into fresh clothes. Shoes cleaned and sanitized. Weight 157.4 lbs. PT walk to living room before returning to recliner. Dusty departed to take out recycling, drop off Good Will donations Joyce sorted out from her dressers, and pick up lunch in Moscow. Joyce left to sleep until lunch delivered.
1:34 p.m. - Lunch (Stax Vandal sandwich with cup of Ivar's clam chowder). 3/4 of sandwich and soup eaten. Joyce napped after finishing lunch, citing fatigue.
3:40 p.m. - Joyce woke in a state of confusion from napping, thinking a whole day had passed and that it was 3:40 a.m. in the morning. Joyce was confused why the sun was up at 3:40 a.m. or why it was still out if it was 3:40 p.m. Joyce did not know who Dusty was and was concerned that he had apparently spent the night in her other chair opposite hers.
4:14 p.m. - Urinary incontinence. Joyce assisted to bathroom and Dusty cleaned her up using sanitation cloths. Fresh diaper and diaper pad insert. Shoes cleaned and sanitized. Joyce passed remainder of urine and type 5 bowel movement. Joyce concerned that she was going to be put into the shower because she had a bowel movement. Dusty assured her she had only wet herself and not soiled herself and so the shower was not required at this point.

They departed soon afterward following confirmation that Joyce's Subaru was not needed for transporting Joyce until December 1 for next medical appointment. Plan is for Craig and Christy to drive Christy home and have Subaru back by Monday.
6:46 p.m. - Joyce wanted to watch "something Christmas" - Christmas Inheritance started after Joyce struggled with the remote control (she could not comprehend how to work the search feature).
