General Update #19
2:03 p.m. - Nurse's aides returned to check in on Joyce, found Joyce asleep on the toilet. Joyce informed nurse's aides that she does not know what the plan for her is, after they told Joyce that she was going to be transferring over to Good Samaritan. Joyce told them that she is not being told what is happening to her. Connie attempted to call Joyce during this time. Dusty reminded nurse's aides that Joyce has memory issues after he got off of phone call with Connie. Joyce was returned to her chair and was allowed to get back to trying to eat her lunch. Joyce announced that she felt like she needed to throw up. Joyce threw up at 2:10 p.m. into hastily obtained vomit bag. Nurse's aide informed Joyce that because Joyce didn't have food with her food that probably caused the vomiting as the medications should not be taken on an empty stomach.
2:11 p.m. - Jessie from physical therapy arrived to check in on Joyce. Nurse's aides sent Jessie away as Joyce was just recovering from vomiting and hasn't eaten lunch yet. Joyce requested a piece of toast with peanut butter from the nurse's aides. They left to get that.
2:13 p.m. - Dana arrived to check in with Dusty, announcing that the plan was for Joyce to be transferred to Good Samaritan ~2:45 p.m. or 3 p.m. Dusty asked about uncertainty about Joyce being moved to Good Samaritan as nurse and Dr. Brown had not yet returned to discuss issue of non-bowel movement raised. Dana left room to call Good Sam and find Dr. Brown as Dana was told that Joyce was given the suppository but Dana didn't know Joyce hadn't had a bowel movement yet.
